Directions to the Comfy 1 Virginia showroom

Don't come without first calling, at 1-800-659-0436. This showroom is often open Saturdays 10:00 to 2:00 (later on request), as well as most weekdays by appointment. It is located an hour south of Washington D.C.on the north side of Fredericksburg, about 1.5 miles off I-95.

Coming from the Washington, D.C. area or from most places north of Fredericksburg: I-95 would normally be the fastest route for people coming from the Washington, D.C. area or up or down the East Coast, but on a summer Saturday morning it's very slow southbound.
Get off at exit 133B, for Route 17 North..

A: You will be forced to go in the correct direction on Rte. 17. Go to the fifth traffic light, at McWhirt Loop, which is just after a CVS on the left. Turn left there, follow the curve to the right, and you'll quickly see warehouse buildings on the left, including the one in which we are located. The second one in from Rte. 17 (bldg. #27) is the one in which we are located (however, the first building is set back farther from the road than the other buildiings and might be difficult to notice).The first place you can turn left is between two buildings that are past our building. Turn left and turn sharply back around behind the first building on your left, to the previous building. We are in the next-to-last unit on the left in that building (unit 111 of 27 McWhirt Loop). If you go to unit 111 of a building that says 33 or anything other than 27 on the end of the building, you'll be at the wrong place.

Coming from the south of Fredericksburg, Take I-95 to exit 133 and follow the signs for Rte.17 north.. Pick up on the instructions in the paragraph just above this one.

Driving from Manassas and other locations well to the west and southwest of the Washington Beltway:
It may be quicker to come to the south and east on Rte. 17, connecting from Rte. 28 or I-66. As you approach us you'll pass a WalMart on the right, and a mile later a Lowe's on the right. A GPS might then guide you to turn in toward the western end of McWhirt "Loop", but it's easier to continue a little farther to the other end of the loop. At the next traffic light after the one next to Lowe's, you'll see a CVS ahead on the right. If you're coming from the west and southwest, on I-64 or I-81 in the Staunton area or farther to the south, or are coming from the Charlottesville area, it's normally best to take I-64 east to exit 124, which is for Rte. 250. Go right off the ramp, and after about 2 miles go left on Rte. 22 . Keep going straight onto Rte. 231 at the fork when Rte. 22 goes off to the right. Then continue on Rte. 15 (straight across the rotary in Gordonsville. Go right onto Rte. 20 at the Exxon station as you come into Orange. Continue on Rte. 20 until it ends at a T, where you go right onto Rte. 3. Continue on Rte. 3 until you come to I-95, where you follow the sign to go north toward Washington. Get off at the very next exit (#133) and follow the signs for Rte.17 north. (the second turnoff at that exit). Pick up on the instructions following "A" near the top of this page.
