Space-Saving, Small Sofas, Sectionals and Loveseats

Every sofa, loveseat or sectional model of ours is non-bulky and can be made to fit small spaces, with relatively narrow arms, your choice of many standard lengths (small, medium or large) or custom lengths, Our smallest standard loveseat is only 52" long (although we can make them still smaller), and we also offer 58", 64" and 71" loveseat - sofa sizes. Our small (or relatively small) standard three-seat sofa or couch is 76" long, but it allows six feet of length between the arms. We can also make any sofa model in various other small or narrow sizes. Our chair, loveseat and sofa frames are only about 33" deep (three to six inches less deep than most furniture in stores these days), or even a 30" depth can be ordered on any of our sofa models, Despite the less-deep frames, even most taller people find our 33" sofa depth comfortable, since the lesser depth comes mainly from a less bulky back of the frame, and also since big people sink farther into our 8"-thick back cushions than small people do. The standard height off the floor to the top of the sofas' back cushions is 31", and they can be made higher or lower.

Entry of our couches into almost any room: All of our sofas, loveseats and sectionals are easy to disassemble for moving, as well as to re-assemble. Even long sofas and large sectionals can be gotten into essentially any room, including rooms accessible only by narrow stairways or around tight corners, or into cabins in boats. They are shipped or delivered to you in the form of components, which we assemble if we deliver them. (We personally deliver almost all orders from customers located between Virginia in the south and the New York City suburbs in the north, sometimes to the Boston area, and west to Eastern Pennsylvania. Large orders or multiple orders going to the same area sometimes take us well beyond that range, including three deliveries to California since 2002.)

Even our fully-upholstered model is on a small scale compared with most sofas in stores these days..

Shown at right: A 67" loveeat, the largest of our three standard loveseat sizes. This small sofa length provides 60" of seating or reclining length between the arms. It's long enough to seat three without squeezing.

A Small Sofa that Still Lets a Six-footer Stretch Out.

Shown here: A 79" sofa (the equivalent size in four of our exposed-wood models is 76"). In both cases, this relatively compact overall length still provides 72" of seating or reclining length (or 71 3/4" in the case of the other models).

Small Sofa or Medium Loveseat

Shown here is our California model in our 58" loveseat length, which becomes 62" if you choose the optional padded arm wraps. We also make loveseats in any model in a six-inch-longer standard size as well as in a six-inch-shorter standard size, as well as in special sizes still smaller or larger. Our 31" height (shown above) is high enough for good back support for the vast majority of customers, while not obscuring the view out a window or without looking bulky in a small room. And even special custom sizes to fit almost any space. A Florida customer odered this loveseat to be even smaller than our 52" standard size, to fit a very limited space in his boat.

Condominium Sofa Sectional

Our sectional sofas can also be made unsually small. The one shown is 58" x 68", but we make them in a variety of standard sizes and configurations, as well as in special sizes down to the specific inch. For more information about our sectional sofas, click here.

In addition to offering small sizes in sofas and loveseats to satisfy almost any need for small dimensions, we offer an essentially unlimited selection of fabrics, or you can provide your own. Our standard cushioning is medium firm, but we also offer firmer and softer options. All of our furniture is unusually durable and practical, with nearly-indestructible frames, high-qualilty cushion filling, and covers that are easy to replace.

Apartment-size Sofa

For limited space, to seat two spaciously or three with no problem, our 64" loveseat length is ideal. (Certain arm options add 3" to 7" to this length.) The distance between the arms is 60". Our Virginia model is shown, which has a low, well-padded arm, good for a headrest.

Some of our space-challenged customers have ordered sectional sofas with one armless side, to maximize the seating provided at a spot where space is especially limited. Both ·arms of a sofa, loveseat or chair can also be ordered armless, as well. This has the additional advantage of providing maximum reclining space in relation to space available.
